About this journey
Upper Mustang — the last forbidden kingdom — sits at 3,800 metres on the Tibetan plateau, sealed to independent travellers by royal decree until 1992. Only 1,000 permits are issued annually. OWJ accesses a private cave monastery lodge whose owners trace their lineage to the 15th-century Kingdom of Lo. Tibetan longevity monks lead a twelve-night programme that has no equivalent anywhere on earth.
What is included
- Private access to sealed cave monastery at 4,200m
- Twelve-night Tibetan longevity mantra and breathwork
- Extreme altitude hypoxic adaptation for cellular renewal
- Ancient Amchi Tibetan physician full constitutional assessment
